Thailand Jabs in Medway: The Vaccines Most Travellers Will Need

The following vaccines are routinely recommended for Thailand travel based on current NaTHNaC guidance.

Hepatitis A

£50 per dose
Hepatitis A spreads through contaminated food and water. It’s a common risk for travelers in Thailand, so we strongly recommend this vaccine for your trip.

Typhoid

£50

Typhoid is a bacterial infection from contaminated food or water. It’s a risk in rural areas and street markets, making vaccination a smart choice for you.

DTP (Diphtheria, Tetanus, Polio)

£50

We recommend a booster if your last one was over ten years ago. It’s especially important for those planning trekking, motorcycle travel, or other outdoor adventures.

// FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need the Yellow Fever vaccine for Thailand?

No, Thailand is not endemic. However, proof of vaccination may be required if arriving from an endemic country.

Risk is very low in major cities and tourist hubs, but higher in forested border regions. Your clinician will advise based on your specific itinerary.

While lower in resorts, risk exists from monkeys and stray dogs nationwide. Pre-exposure vaccination is recommended for those interacting with animals.

Hepatitis A and Typhoid start at £50/dose. Rabies is £85/dose and Japanese Encephalitis is £110/dose. Consultation fees are waived if vaccines are administered on-site.

Yes for single-dose jabs. Multi-dose courses (Rabies/JE) require several weeks, so book early to ensure full protection.

Bring your itinerary, vaccination history, medication list, and your passport if requiring Yellow Fever certification for onward travel.
