The certificate becomes valid 10 days after vaccination and is recognised as providing lifelong protection under current WHO guidance. I had a fantastic experience at Medway Travel Clinic while getting everything sorted for my trip to South America. The clinic is modern, clean, and well-run, which really helped put me at ease. Booking was simple, and there were plenty of appointment slots to choose from, even at short notice. I was especially impressed that they had all the necessary vaccines in stock, so I could get everything done in one visit. There is one pharmacy here, some very odd opening hours and long lunch break, some parking spaces behind at £2:40 minimum for first hour, if no spaces "walk the gauntlet" through Chatham High Street to get there!!
Yes. We are an officially certified Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre, authorised by NaTHNaC to administer the Stamaril vaccine and issue the ICVP. Not all travel clinics or pharmacies hold this certification.
The Yellow Fever vaccine costs £75, which includes the ICVP certificate. No separate consultation fee applies when the vaccine is administered on the day of your appointment.
Yes. Under current WHO guidelines and International Health Regulations, ICVP certificates issued at any point in your lifetime remain valid for life. If you are in any doubt, bring your certificate to the clinic and we will confirm its status.
This depends on the country and transit time. Some nations require an ICVP for any transit through endemic areas. Verify all itinerary stops on TravelHealthPro.
Medway Travel Clinic does not vaccinate patients 60 or older due to increased risks. If your destination requires a certificate and you are over 60, please contact us for advice before booking.
Medical exemption certificates may be available if you are unable to receive the vaccine. Discuss this during your appointment for advice on next steps and appropriate referral options.
